I have won Olympic gold medals in two different sports and I was named the Associated Press Female Athlete of the Year in 1985. I have won multiple world championships in both my sports and I'm the only woman to ever be named to the US Olympic Hall of Fame in two different categories.

1. I participated in the Summer Olympics in 1976 and 1984.
2. I was a member of the U.S. National team in both of my sports.
3. My first sport made its Olympic debut in the 1976 Montreal Olympics.
4. My second sport made its Olympic debut in the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics.
